Potato Vermicelli Production Line - Sheet Spreading Process

The crystal vermicelli production line is the complete set of equipment for processing vermicelli. The main reason why vermicelli is described as crystal is that the appearance of the vermicelli is crystal clear. Our potato vermicelli production line combines traditional methodology with fully automatic process engineering to make truly crystal clear potato glass noodles. Cassava or sweetpotato starch, and cornstarch can also be used as feed material in this production line to make cellophane glass noodle starch vermicelli.

The features of the equipment are: outdoor hanging cooling and drying production process is replaced by the indoor cold storage aging and low temperature drying. The temperature, constant humidity, and freezing process are not affected by seasonal climate, so that mold contamination in the plant environment is under perfect control. Technological upgrading has greatly improved productivity, and the return profit is significant.

Unit Operation

The potato vermicelli production line consists of 11 machine units and 3 electrical control panels. The main units are:

1) Dosing device

Proper amount of water is measured for the preparation of starch slurry.

2) Potato starch slurry stirring tank

Water and starch are mixed in this device to prepare slurry.

3) Slurry sheet spreading and transporting

The slurry flows to a belt conveyor and forms a continuous slurry sheet.

4) Slurry sheet steaming

The slurry sheet is cooked in a single layer steamer or multi-layer steamer. This device is actually the same as the ones used for dried and fried instant noodle production lines.

5) Normal temperature aging /low temperature aging (cold storage)

During these procedures the alpha degree of starch reduced and the moisture level also decreased.

6) Vertical cutting

The starch sheet is shredded into vermicelli (glass noodles).

7) Low temperature heated-air drying

The vermicelli is hanged and dried in the low temperature heated-air drying chamber.

8)Cooling, length cutting and packaging.

The final products is cooled and cut into proper length, and is ready for packaging.

Process Flowsheet Of Crystal Vermicelli Production Line

Preheating, mixing → stirring (constant temperature storage) → scraper blanking → slurry sheet forming → steaming (gelatinization sheet forming) → cooling → aging → vermicelli shredding → drying → vermicelli length cutting → packaging → final products

Process Starting Procedure

There are the steam supply heat exchange system, the mixing pre-gelatinization system, the sheet forming automatic control device, the continuous curing system, the constant temperature and humidity aging system, the vermicelli shredding system and vermicelli length cutting system, the low temperature drying system, the conveying system, and the electrical system. The following steps of staring procedure should be observed:

1) Check whether the power supply voltage is normal (380V±10%), whether each power motor rotates smoothly, whether the rotation direction is correct, whether the refrigerator compressor is running normally, the control switch of each power cabinet (or video control), current display, and temperature.

2) Check all the steam pipes connected to the main unit in detail to ensure that there is no steam leakage, so as to ensure the normal use of steam in systems such as the steamer and drying chamber, and then check whether the water inlet pipes of various parts are leaking and whether the drainage pipes are unblocked.

3) Check whether the fasteners are firm, whether the conveying steel belt and the surface of the mesh belt are clean and hygienic, so that the conveyors can operate smoothly and have no jamming phenomenon.

4. Adjust the conveying steel belt and mesh belt to achieve appropriate tightness to ensure normal operation without swinging deviation. 5. Fill each reducer with appropriate amount of lubricating oil, and add grease and lubricating oil to the bearing and each transmission part to ensure the normal operation of transmission.

6) After the above work is done, turn on the main engine and run it for 20 minutes. If everything is normal, you are ready to start the production test run.
